Hey Zootman
Your pict shows some binding that look nice. What are they and what are

Thanks

Alright, what else is needed for this kit? Can we get a list of what's been
contributed so far?

If it's not stepping on Shane's toes I'd like to offer some gold colored
fretwire to match the tuning machines.

Truss rod. Still need a truss rod right? Allied Lutherie truss rod included.

Strings? I'll throw in a set of D'Addario EJ16 lights.

And if the winner is interested in some curly walnut or maple burl to use
with the abalone in the rosette, no problem.

Now run this bidding up before I get tempted to bid money I can't afford
to be spending!!!

with the abalone in the rosette, no problem.

Where multiples of the same item have been donated the winning bidder can decide what he or she wants.

Wow, not to mention that the collection of this "kit" is from the fine folks of this forum!
Yes it could look like one of Andy's fantastic guitars and after it is built, you'll have an OLF special!
That certainly adds considerable value in my book!
And not to mention such a worthy cause! I only hope to have such great support in my time of need!
Thanks,

$600

I was the high bidder on the first auction, what an honor for me to be able to build with things you guys are providing. I had just purchased a simple Center Line finder from Tracy a few months ago, what a nice tool! So, I would like to add this item to this auction, maybe whoever wins is will need the center line finder. I have already let Tracy know this so it won't need to be mailed twice.   Tom Harbin

Yes indeed! And thanks Tom for passing on the good cheer!

So whoever wins this auction also gets a centerline finder.

Hi Ron! I "know" Ron from MIMF and we also met in person (and even jammed briefly I think?) at the 2005 ASIA gathering. He is a fine picker and singer, loves John Prine tunes; an all around nice guy!

An all around nice guy -- yeah right -- I'm still miffed at Ron for outbidding me on a big chunk of Koa at ASIA 2005.

Seriously what Arnt said -- to that I would add a very fine guitar builder and a very welcome addition to the OLF.
