I learned yesterday that the tele-wannabe that I built last year (some of you will remember that) has cut its first album, and is in the hands of some very well-known players. Well, one to be specific. And, well, you didn't know he was a player... and neither did I. But he is well-known!

Here's the pic:

Spence Peppard, the owner, cut this album of Christmas music, and got some backup help in the studio from that guy in red. (And by the way, he can really play!)
So, I can now say--Santa plays a Kinnaird.
I've never had an endorsement from that far away, or by that famous a player, but I can tell ya, it feels pretty good.

Steve

Way to go Steve, hmmmm if there was a Chanukah guy we could build him 8 guitars. One for each day.
Looks great do you have a full photo of it? I am a tele guy myself.
Best, Evan

Cool stuff. I think it would be great to hear my guitar on a cd, so you must be happy.

Keep it up. I love that Tele twang.

Thanks again, fellas.

Walter, I like your thinking: "again and again".
Perhaps I could work out an endorsement deal with the Tooth Fairy, and maybe, just maybe Paul Bunyan? Might as well shoot for the really big stars.

Dave--you really sleigh me!

Hesh--yup, I'm pretty tight with the big guy now. So watch your step!

Tony--see comment to Dave. But actually no, real money traded hands. Santa was a surprise. But don't you think it matches his outfit well? Talk about serendipity!

Evan--that's all I've got. Well, except for this:

And this:

Hope your Chanukah was bright!

Serge--thanks!

Homeboy--I am indeed!

Anthony--more like an oaf.

JJ--you're kind as always, amigo.

Hope you guys got a chuckle out of this.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good night!

Steve

Steve -- that guitar just screams "twin stack Marshall please".

Seeings as how tight you are with Santa -- do you think you could put a good word in for me? My letter to Santa this year came back "address unknown"

Anthony, you bet. I guess your problem is that Canadian mail service, right?
On your next trip to Houston, try mailing from there.
Should be a straight shot.
But just in case, I will mention you. What, exactly, are you wishing for?

Steve

Thanks, Bob!

You say "my hear all blowing straight back",
instead, I see you in front of those Marshalls, with your hearing all blown to smithereens.
But what a great way to lose it, eh? EH?? Bob?

Steve
