Thought someone might enjoy a look at this top. It is Sitka Spruce from Ed Dicks and Timbertone, Vancouver British Columbia, now AC Tonewoods an OLF Sponsor Vendor.

The braces come from John Griffin, Fulton Missouri, Old Standard Tonewood, Adirondack Spruce.

The bridgeplate is somewhat unusual, it's Arkansas Black Walnut. Shape is copied off a Taylor outline.

Everything else as far as bracing goes is Martinesque. There is no popsicle brace due to the fact the neck block has an upper shelf integral to the piece.

Here is a shot of the shelf built into the neck block. This picture may be useful to the neck luthier on this project. The extension ended up at only 5/16 thickness and may require an 1/8 inch addition glued underneath?

Check the plans, and see if this is necessary.
