Woohoo.
I've just had a delivery of timbers for my next guitar.
Another flamenco guitar....

Despite all my research i can't find any Domingo Esteso plans of any sort for public sale.
Despite his legendary fame.
And I think the conde's might object.

The Condes have a new model guitar for sale.
The Esteso reediccion:
Where they've collected together old drawings and jigs and templates to re-create the old master's instruments.

They are rather sexy , but if i have to own a copy i'd rather make my own...

I think the only way someone is going to get plans for one is if they actually see one and take drawings of it.
I'm sure they're out there.
Has anyone got an Esteso plan or drawing they might care to share, or copy?

Cheers,
Claire

Hi Dean.
thanks for that.

I've already seen the web site, and have that page in hard copy.
Its really good because it confirmed some of the dimensions I'd already suspected.
A really good start for this project would be a body shape drawing.
Otherwise its just a wild guess.
Even if you have the raw measurements, an acurate drawing you can make a working template from is always going to be the best way forward.

Cheers,
Claire

Hi Claire,

Excellent job on the flamenco you posted in another thread.

If you like the Conde Hermanos "Esteso" you can print out the back picture of it from GSI's website, and then go to kinkos and have it enlarged until it falls into similar dimensions as given in the link Dean posted.

That can be your outline.
