Hey gang, it's been a while since I posted any updates to my 1st build. I've gotten some great assistance and reassurance from folks on here and I would like to give back some info I have recently came across that was pretty cool.

http://www.cianperez.com/Wood/WoodDocs/Wood_How_To/INDEX_How _To.htm

This link has alot of great information on handtools...making, buying, caring for...etc. I really enjoyed finding this site, because of all the tools an jigs I have spent time building to support building my 1st guitar...at first...I didn't care for having to make jigs and tools because I thought it took away from the guitar building...WAS I EVER WRONG...I really enjoy building tooling / jigs now and hopefully this post will help some 1st timer like me understand that building a guitar means your going to build some tooling too.

As for my update:
Child #2 (girl) has arrived...mom and baby are doing well. My 1st build was put on hold for 6 months while mom was on bedrest, so I am looking forward to getting back into the shop and making some shavings and chips.

Thanks again for everyone's help...and I hope the link above provides some use.
