Thanks for the update, Lance. I've been interested in the progress of this guitar since you first showed us that expert back join. Keep 'em comin'!

BTW, someone's gonna love this guitar...for several generations!

Oh, that's nice!

Are those liners the laminated (Fox?) type liners that Paul Woolson made for sale a while back?

Well I've asked twice...they say three is a charm.

Interesting neck block....Lance do you bolt the fretboard extension down?

Sorry bout that Anthony
I missed your comment in my quick read of the thread.

No bolts, Just a fat landing pad to support the neck extension. I do this instead of the popsicle brace. Its a tad wider than the fretboard so it provides nice support.

Joe B, Yes I glue the braces down, clean the squeeze out up then mask the back off before shaving and sanding.

Arnt, yes sir, I got the liners from Paul Woolson.. I love'em.

JJ, I did the back bracing on this guitar with LMI White, so far so good. That said, this set of cocobolo is not as resinous as some of the others I'm doing right now.

Thanks guys!

Nice Job Lance. Do you know if the linings are still available from Paul?

Thanks, Don
