Just got off the phone with Blake Dyson. Blake is full time guitar building in Staunton Virginia. He worked for a time at a Virginia Guitar building venture and is now on his own. He worked his way into Finishing so is quite experienced.

I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to say thanks for volunteering a finish on the OLF #2 Guitar Project. This was the last big hurdle before heading back out to Hank for final.

Thanks Blake, Bruce

Thanks for stepping up Blake! I would have volunteered but my finishes suck.

Agreed Blake, this is a very generous gesture. This spring/summer, if life affords the time, I plan on taking a motorcycle ride through your part of the world. Maybe I could stop in for a visit, just to say "hello".

Hello All,
I saw repeated posts for a finish man and thought "what the hell? It is for a good cause ,correct?" I appreciate the thanks but this is no big deal. I am excited to see what the guitar looks like. It seems that many have invested a ton of time and effort into this guitar already so we need to be thanking them as well.

Bill- you are welcome to stop by whenever you feel like it, and that goes for everyone here. Just don't comment on the mess in the shop.

Blake
