Good suggestion about the vedgemite. Being a brain food , it may help the Brits and others with their reading    Mmmmmm Vedgemite ; The black nectar of the Gods.

You'll have to post some pics of what your up to Claire. That is , when we are finally able to post pics again

Regards Craig

[QUOTE=Claire]

As a bonus I'll send some Vegemite to the next person.

I LOVE VEGEMITE!

hehe, I guess I live near the capital of Gastronomic Delights in this country, boasting the most Mitchellin-starred restaurants and the best food festival in England, perhaps I could send a local delicacy onto whoever's next on the list?

Colin S, Dave White, are you in also?Sam Price39107.7564351852

I'm excited about this, it should be fun. I've got the package basically ready to go to Austrailia. Inside the book are several pages I've added with three maps of locations, and a list of all the participants mailing address.

I've made up the list in expectation that everyone who wants to join in has already and here is the list in the order of who gets it next (the best I could)

1. Craig Lawrence (Australia)
2. Joel Fallows
3. Claire Arendse
4. Paul Burns
5. Bob Connor
6. Kim Hickey
7. Arnt Rian (Norway)
8. Martin Edwards (Ireland)
9. Sam Price (UK)
10. Serge Poirier (Quebec, Canada)
11. Alain Desforges
12. Tom Dowey
13. The Zootman Bob Cefalu
14. JJ Donohue
15. Coe Franklin
16. John Elshaw
17. John Cavanaugh
18. Paul Woolson
19. Bruce Dickey
20. Old Man Ron Wisdom
21. Dave Anderson
22. Michael McBroom
23. Andy Zimmerman
24. Peter Marreiros
25. Ed Barajas
26. Ronn Coates will be moving
27. Hank Mauel & John How
28. Lillian Watson will be moving
29. Danny Vincent
30. Shane Neifer
31. Graham Stewart

And What I will do once it's back to me is try and scan the pages and than email them to all the participants, so everyone can see all the added comments after it's long journey around the world.

That's great Rod . Hey I'm first folks ! I look forward to reading it.
Very good of you to organize all this Rod ( and Sergio ). Particularly good idea to scan the comments to send to all the readers.

Smart move to send it to Australia first .   (fast readers )

Cheers CraigKiwiCraig39108.0165972222

Looking forward to the book odyssey around the globe. I was just thinking...32 readers x 2 weeks average time with each reader = 64 weeks until Rod publishes the comments.

By that time, I make the following predictions:
...Rod will have finished 2 graduate degrees
...Hesh will have completed 15 more guitars
...Serge will have achieved "Fossilized Walrus Ivory" status with 25,000 posts
...Colin will have cornered the world market on Mahogany
...Zootman will buy out the houses on each side next to him and turned them into Zoot caves.
...The Don will come out of retirement and resume building guitars
...Anthony will have completed his next Archtop
...Alain will have been cited by the Canadian government for generating too much dust from his new drum sander.
...OLF will have 3000 members and a library!
...The OLF #1 & #2 guitars will finally be completed!
...And finally...Allen St. John will release his followup book, "Clapton's Guitar's Neck Re-Set"

Any other predictions?

hey Serge, I'll send ya something British, but I don't think sugar pie will survive the long haul flight, and troglodite postal carriers throwing packages around!!!

I'm with you, too many chances that the pie would be eaten before it would leave the airport anyways!

Looking forward to what you'll send over Sam, how about a pic of you and your first guitar with Sweetie and the kids?

JJ, you forgot one thing, the edition of your book called " The predictions of JJnamus Tome 2"!

How long can we keep the book for, before passing it on? I have a nasty habit of liking books a little too much....and I need a time limit!! Sam Price39108.5088425926

Sam, I'd say that if you devoure that book like i'm gonna do, you'll be done in no time! You'll just have to put sweetie in charge of sending it forward as soon as you're done reading IMVHO

Looking forward to see your family portrait sis!

Cheers

Serge
