So I'm getting ready to take my wife to the airport (she's off to PHX, don't you feel sorry for her) which means I'm a single dad for the week. It's usually pretty disrupting for the work schedule...pick up here, drop off there, another pick up, blah, blah, blah.
Just found out that our schools are closed because of cold (it's currently -17 F with a -33 F wind chill). So now I'll be suprised if I even set foot in the shop today.
Just venting.
Stay warm all!

Hang in there, Mr. Mom! This arctic blast is dangerous as I'm sure you realize. Keep the chicks warm in the nest until it passes. I'm sure Jen is feeling your pain!

Only in the 20' and 30's here, but the roads were too icy for the busses on Thursday and Friday last week. I'm a teacher , no kids at home, , I spent both days in the shop.    Sorry

Out here in BC Canada we had a bit of winter which is unusual for us. Now I think we are on track for some nice spring weather. I took a look out of my cave (shop) and didn't see my shadow so I'm sure I'm right about the forecast.

It's about 90 here and hardly a cloud in the sky, I've got just about all the windows in the house open, there's a lovely cool breeze coming in from the south east at about 3 or 4 knots. A beautiful day.

3 to 4 knots? The breeze must be coming in from the ocean!
