Ahem - patience

Thanks for the update Lance -- I didn't appreciate that a lot of damage had been done.

Hey Brock,

One suggestion might be to just keep the communication up. Every one knows that we are all busy, many with numerous things going on. So when these changes are made, just post an update of what and why they are there. This is really a great group so you will get the support, but it is frustrating when these changes occur, especially when it is coincidental to the recent hacking event.

A humble suggestion....as we get older, change is harder to accept!

Shane

I just think that it's a shame that Brock had to remove the edit button, but I fully understand. My wife ran an internet board for years, and some of the posters were masterful at saying something to get a bunch of people upset, then later editing to make it look like they had been mistreated.

It is funny that you say that because I am tweaking things behind the scenes quite a bit and most of it goes unnoticed (or if it is noone seems to care), but there are other things that seem to be "bigger"

I guess we just want the inner workings to seem effortless as much as we can and we want to keep as much drama as possible off the boards.

But I understand your suggestion and I agree... that might be a good way to go for bigger things.

Thanks.

I'm sorry about the use of the word "blathering".
If the edit button was working, I probably would have changed it to "thoughtful comments"..

I am with Todd, can understand the dilemma, but wish we could have a time frame to vet what we write.

Sometimes you read what you want to read even if it is not there, funny thing is that you may do this 100 times and not notice. Until of course your post goes live, then it glares at you

I know we can write a post in MsWord then copy and paste but that like stopping to put the rubber on, some of the passion gets lost in the moment

Cheers

Kim

I've never used the rubber on MSWord, maybe I'm dumb but, what does it do?

I used to like the edit button, but I'm not going to pass up a chance to thank Brock and Lance for a great forum! If the edit button goes, well!

Looks like you guys are getting hit with some weird scat recently. I feel bad because moding is not building which what this is all about. Thanks again guys! Wish I could help!

Well it gives you more time to contemplate your belly-button instead.
