I need a quart of McFadden's but in light of Lance's recent problem with LMI glue freezing, I wanted to make sure there would be no problems with shipping McFadden's lacquer in such low temps as we're experiencing.

While I would not expect the laquer to freeze, I was wondering if there could be some irreversible physical or chemical changes. I plan to call LMI when they awaken on the west coast. Any experience?

TIA

rather than lmi, i would call macfaddens.

i've had lacquer shipped in winter and never had any problems, but of couse one never knows exactly what conditions it experienced in transit.

I just called LMI...they ship in winter and have no complaints. On the other hand, waterbournes do have an issue in a small percentage of orders. When problems occur, they replace.
