They aren't small but they're BIG!!

I have added Harp sets to the website. They still need to dry but a pic of one is here.

I really wish I knew how to get a picture from my website so it shows up here .

Anyway, they should be ready when the bindings arrive in a couple of weeks. I have 20 or 30 sets, depending on final grading.

Shane

They look awesome!! The grain looks really even and straight which is a big plus on a set that long.

At 9 inches wide a 17+ width lower bout is just what is needed for a large harp guitar.

I like the prices of your stock...

and I might have to give in to the temptation to resist thinking about build #4 being a harp guitar...hmmmm...

I have started a list of those interested....It will be first come first served for these few, based on grade. But I will be cutting more when I get my next logs. MAN, they were heavy to cut! I left them a bit thick, they are about 5/16 inches thick in the rough. I will probably sand the face before they go out. I need to finish the drying process first and that will be a couple of weeks.

It's giving me a headache to even comntemplate the concept of stickering 'em and storing them in a 3 bedroom semi!!!

Sam, three bedrooms must mean three beds....lots of room under them things for storing tonewood!! But make sure that they are not directly on the floor!

On a more serious note, I have a LOT of sets that I just keep because they have an issue that makes them risky to sell but are just WAY too nice to throw away. I don't sticker any of them. My back and side sets are not stickered either and I a fair few of those, they are all just stacked on a nice flat surface, then when I am getting ready to use them, I pull the sets I want, glue them up a couple of weeks before I want to use them and then sticker so that they acclimate to the general shop environment. Saves lots of space and makes enabling WAS much easier!
