I sure missed the forum over the weekend... glad it's back. I'm sure that Lance & Brock were frantic behind the scenes.

Thanks, guys...you can take a deep breath now!

I'm truly happy the site's up too.
But let me tell you why my withdrawal wasn't as bad as yours, perhaps.
LINT had its annual Master's Class over the weekend.
This year's guest lecturer was Dan Erlewine, of not only Stew-Mac fame, but ofI-know-everything-worth-knowing-about-guitars fame. This man was/is truly inspirational.
He'd be lecturing on about something, and just as an aside to himself he'd mutter something profound. Out would come the notebooks, and tips and "secrets" would be garnered that will improve my building permanently.

It was a gooood weekend. And now that the OLF's back up, I can tell you all about it!

Steve

Steve, you need to start a new thread about this. Dan is of coure a legend and I for one would be very interested in everything he had to say.

Indeed, Dave, what were you thinking?
There was a fellow there (didn't catch his name) who had come from Chicago. Goodness, Dan came from all the way from Ohio...wherever that is.

Next year, plan on it!

Does this mean Dan is coming back next year? I need to get down to LINT sometime just to get acquainted with all you guys.

I doubt it, Dave. There is the attempt to get a new name each year, so it will probably be someone else.

Indeed you DO! You are welcome any time!
