D'Addario string order update?

I haven't been around much, and don't see anything about this in recent postings, so I'll ask: what is the current status of the D'Addario string order? Not trying to be a pest - just wondering...

Dennis

We've all been trying not to be pests. But I keep running out of strings, and paying more by only buying small quantities, because the strings are always going to be coming in about a month. We paid for these in advance, what, about 8 months ago? There has to be a limit to this somewhere along the line. I know Lance and Brock have good intentions, and have worked on this, and thanks for that. But is it happening or not?

I was splitting an order with an OLF'er and in the interim
I became a D'addarrio dealer. I will still do my original split though.
I am sure it will come through soon,
Best, Evan

BTW, my shipping address will be changing in a few weeks, so please check with me if you are going to be sending them, unless it's in the next week and a half or so.

I've been wondering about this too. It has been a while and they were expected to be shipped in Feb.

Me Too. Money all spent, no string attached

We posted an update about this a couple weeks ago... remember?

They should be shipped to us next week, and then we have to break the order down and get it sent out.

Boy, I hope they really do ship this time. Like Howard, I have had to buy strings quite a few times since sending in my money for this. The eight month waiting period make Euphonon look more attractive all the time.

C'mon, Dave...it's only been 7 months...8 months would be ridiculous! Euphonon is still my favorite place to buy strings. I had to place an order with them back in December, so I'll have enough strings for years once this order is shipped. With all due respect to L&B, had I known then what I know now...

I agree with JJ on the "had I known..." thought.
I was splitting my order with another OLFer. After 2 months he couldn't wait any longer so he called D'Addario and became a dealer. Ordered a gross of strings and had them in 12 days. Paid exactly what we are paying. So, hmmm, when I do the math, something's not right.

Yeah, well... this has been a lot harder for us too.

As I have told many of you, I screwed up the orginal order and it had to be remade. The new timetable was laid out and presented that they would be manufactured late Feb and shipped the first week of March.

We are on track with that. Again sorry for the delay, if you want to cancel your order please let us know.
