Well the first laminated neck blank is ready. It's honduran mahogany with maple center stripe bordered on each side with .032 black veneer. This one is 30" long but after I drew a 25.5 neck pattern on it I see that 26" would be plenty long enough. Your comments are welcome.
I'd like to add being an advertiser it annoys me too being brought back to the top off the page and having to scroll back down. I still like this new format.

I like it Bob. Will you be taking orders for this combo only or will other combos also be available. Also, will the bandsawn blanks be available as well? Finally, pricing...I assume that the pricing will be on your site. This looks great...you'll be hearing from me...JJ

So, how much? They will be even more of a time saver if they're available bandsawed...is that a possiblity? Also, any chance of maple with a rosewood stripe?

OK let's see if I can answer every one. The standard blank like pictured is $95. Thats a 5 ply laminate. So a 1/4"w. center stripe of maple with one veneer line on each side. Alternate woods for center stripe are available. Just e-mail me with your needs. Additional veneer lines are $10 ea. I can make then up in Curly maple with rosewood $135 or walnut and maple $110 or whatever I have available for a center strip with 2 veneer lines. I can cut the blanks too but would prefer to have a pattern. Cost would be $20. Of course shipping is addtional. Finished neck blank dimensions are 3"w. x 4" h. x 26" l. I tried 30" but after laying out two necks it is a waste of wood and not needed. I am working on a web page with pricing.
Thanks guys. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions.

Bob, some folks, not many might need a little more room for a twelve string, about an inch, and you have it easy. I like having a little waste so it's easier to cut out. But like you said, a lot of excess is just a waste. The little blocks make a nice pencil holder on the workbench, but how many of those can a guy use?

Hi Bob
Just wondering if you received my email last week.
You're probably busy and just haven't had a chance to
respond.
Thanks
