I too have the Makita lam trimmer. We have a ton of Makita tools here in Canada and they are a very good tool company. Plenty enough power in the lam trimmer to cut binding channels

I use my makita to cut my binding channels, truss rod slot (although I think I'll be going to a router table with that one soon), rosette channels, back strip channels and of course flush trimming.

I have the same trimmer as Mark shows.

Ahhhh, Don. I am starting to learn that you are, like Brock says, a tease.
