I would love to join you and meet some of you also. It would be quite a drive from the north florida area, but I'm up for it !

OK, it looks like most of the folks who responded are willing to get together sometime in April...and the third Saturday of April will work well for me. (The beginning of April will not work for me Chris, as my wife takes her chemo that week...I"m sorry 'bout that.)

So, at this point, let's say the "get together" is going to be April 21st...if that gives multiple people heartburn, PLEASE weigh in now, and we can move this thing to early May.

Thoughts????

As far as I know now, that would work for me too.

I would really like to come. I am not sure about April 21st, later would be better for me, but I will try for that date. What do we bring besides a guitar or two? Covered dish or is the plan to eat out?

forgot to say that I am in the Asheville area, Madison County more precisely, and good picking abounds in this area. Some time we should have a gathering up here in the hills.

John:

Hi guy...I was hoping you could get in on this. Sorry about that date, I let the thread run as long as possible waiting on folks to chime in.

If you can make it, just bring yourself, and whatever you want to show off (and your guitars will be considerable!). Otherwise, we'll eat out that night I guess (I'll find a decent place that suits most people). Look for the other thread I just posted about the gathering - it's got more details!!

Even if you can't make it this time, is your offer to let me buy you lunch down at Helen's still open for sometime late spring/early summer? I've got the motorcycle running well, and I'm looking for a reason to venture your way.

Bill

There's a new mid-atlantic thread. Please look for it. Thanks!

Bill

Bill You are welcome to buy me lunch any ol time. And welcome to hang out at my place as well. We have a special affinity for motorcyclists. My brother Steve just got one and I am very jealous.
