Hi,

I am not sure if this has been done before or indeed if anyone would be interested. After noticing that our US cousins arrange these sorts of things and baring in mind that thier country is mahosiv , I thiought that maybe a UK meet up would not be impossible.

What do people think about this one then?

Thanks,
Barry.

sounds like a great idea - what happens at the meets?

i can imagine a UK meet would be warm pub, too much ale, right old laugh and all the guitars left in the boots of our cars!!

Hey
My brother and I might be able to attend that. We are planning a trip to Yorkshire sometime this summer. I would love to sit and sip a pint or two of ESB and talk shop. (Assuming we can overcome the language barrier. I am from the deep south)

Hi Steve check out my neck creep post dude!

John K deep south .........sounds challenging....maybe i will hook you up with my brother who is from Plymouth (our version of deep south) see how you get on Most of my friends regardless of where they are from in the UK cant understand him

Steve I have no idea what would happen at a meet (maybe some US people can chip in here and enlighten us) I just thought that it may be a cool thing to do or in fact that is already done??

You suggestion though sounds ace... Country pub beer and food........and yes all the guitars in the car boots (trunks )

Yeah but beer is always good

I guess a meet would have to be in the middle of our great island to minimise distance???

It would be interesting to find out if this has been done before too...No point re-inventing the wheel and all that.

I *might* possibly be up for a UK meet.....

There's also David White, Colin S, Russel R and Martin Edwards who might be interested too...
