Sounds like you are in good shape. One last thing you NEED to make sure of is that the pin holes fall within the bridge plate. Since that is really the main purpose of a bridge plate (protecting the top from the ball end of the strings) you want to make sure it's doing its job. If the pin holes fall on the plate, I'd say you are golden, run with it, and mark this one up to experience.
Hey, maybe you just invented the popularity of the 13-1/2 fret guitar.

I just need to snad and finish this one now....See the inexperience flooding out 'all i need to do....'

Thing is though I have no idea how this happened. I followed the plans very closely (at least i though i did) and the actual guitar length does indeed match the plans....strange.
