I have been enjoying all this forum has to offer the hobbiest luthier for some time now. I recently came across a large chunk of very pretty spalted maple for a very reasonable price. I cut enough to keep me in rosettes for the rest of my life and I still have a lot left. If anyone wants pieces large enough for a rosette, peghead, or what have you just PM me and I'll send you a couple of pieces free. Thats right, absolutly FREE! This is my small way of saying thank you to all of the fine people here. I have about 50 pieces left so when they're gone they're gone. Again, Thanks guys and girls.... Mike

Cool Mike, I'd have a go at a couple. Got any pics?

I'll give you a discount on some K and K pickups should you ever need any. How's that? BD

Sorry Folks, I was unprepared for the avalanche of responses. I was able to take care of 16 of you. I received 40+ requests by 10:00 A.M. and just plain ran out. Maybe another nice chunk will show up sometime.....Mike

Very nice of you to offer Mike.

I wish I would have seen this sooner, but all the same it was a nice gesture and just as Robert said, it's still much appreciated by all.

I received mine on Saturday and I'll add my "Thanks a lot!" also. I'm starting on an Ambrosia maple guitar and this will make a great rosette.

Thanks!

mike, when i didn't receive my spalted maple i thought i must have been one of the many who had been too slow responding to your so generous offer.

imagine my delight when i received a package in the friday post containing my by then most unexpected share of your beatiful and generous to the forum's members.

if there is ever an opportunity for me to reciprocate, please do not hesitte to ask.
