By no means do I mean to hijack your thread, but I wanted to post my headstock design just to show that I believe it to be an original design.  Did I succeed?

The headstock end is slanted and the tuners are offset to match the angle of the headstock . I tried 3 times to get a clearer picture of this, but for some reason my camera doesnt want to cooperate with me. I think it is time for a new camera...

This was an experiement with the "H" instead of "hodges" inlay and I think I got the H too large... no biggie, this will be the only one like this. On this guitar, I also mirrored the headstock design in the soundhole end of the fingerboard and also the ends of the bridge. I think I will keep the bridge design for a while, but I dont know about the fingerboard design.

I dont know how I ended up with one black pin.... you get the idea anyway?

I really *do* need a better camera... sorry these are so blurry but I hope you get the idea of originality.

Waddy,

Yours are looking GREAT ! I love the design.

Ken

Thanks Ken, I like your H design too.  Very original thinking there.  I was trying to come up with a way of working a T into mine, but didn't want to clutter it.  I have decided to try working my initials into a classical rosette in a repeating design, just for fun.

I too am having problems with my camera.  I have to whack it occasionally to get the lights to come back on.  I had it repaired once, but probably not worth another repair @ $80 when a decent one is available for $150 - 200.
