Ooops, sorry to drop the ball, Michael...glad I checked back. I'm thinking (it's a bit fuzzy now) that I did get insurance via FedEx, but it also seems that the counter help wasn't overly assuring. This was a big gamble that ended happily. I guess best advice would be to really pack the guitar well.
