Thank you, everyone! I have a great deal of respect for the OLF and I'm always impressed by the level of skill and passion of everyone here. Receiving such high praise from all of you is a real mind blower! And now I'm gonna' have to get a bigger hat.

Steve, The Granadillo is very much like a rosewood, real strong ring when tapped, it's sort of glassy and stiff, it's very oily and polishes up really nice... You're right, none of that sounds very much like walnut or koa. Maybe the WRC braces I used on both the top and back helped to mellow the tone of this guitar.

Dave and Charlie, There may be a sound file soon.

Thanks again everybody!!

Long

Bob, that's really beautiful. The combination of the cocobolo with the sapwood is really incredible.

I'm bowing in your general direction, Bob. Your sense of design was working at the expert level when you put that beauty together. Your craftsmanship looks great too. Well done!

Wow, Bob,

I have to add my congrats on that as well. I too was first drawn to how the maple neck morphed into or out of the sapwood. I also like how you left the headstock, well...Long. This is another guitar I will have to look at for future inspiration.

Very well done!

Shane
