I too have a few things to trade or sell. I am looking to trade for bridge blanks and fingerboards with matching headplates of different rosewoods. I'm looking for Brazillian, Madagascar, Cocobolo, pretty much any interesting Dalbergia species. Also any bindings... pretty much any wood I don't have bindings of, but especially ebonies.

First up, bindings:

I have Curly Maple, Padauk, Cherry, and Bloodwood. The maple has a very nice even and dramatic curl. All are quartersawn. Will trade for different interesting woods (especially any ebony) or sell for $2.00 each ($2.50 for the curly maple) Each is about 1/16" thick, and between 3/16"-1/4" wide. Let me know if you prefer closer to 3/16" or 1/4".

Next up, a nice german spruce top:

This is from LMI, their fine grade german top. The color is close to engleman with pinkish stripes. There is a nice bearclaw figure that doesn't show up well at all in the pictures except for a little bit in the last one. $110.

I also have some quartersawn bloodwood for bridges, fingerboards, binding, whatever:

Both are pretty straight grained except for the curve you see about an inch or two in on one end. One measures 32" x 3 1/4" x 13/16" and the other 32" x 3" x 11/16". $20 each.

Macassar ebony:

I have three fingerboard blanks with nice striping like the one on top of the picture. The figured piece below is not for sale. One is 20" x 3" x 1/4" and the other two are 18" x 3 1/4" x 1/4". $12 each.

Ebony Bridge Blanks:

I have 3 of each: 9 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 3/8" and 8" x 2" x 1/2". $4 each, or really looking to trade for rosewood blanks.

I take paypal, but am really looking for a trade. Thanks for looking,

-Ringo

I'll take the 32x3-1/4x13/16 bloodwood $20.00 and all three macassar fretboards $36 and the three ebony 8x2x1/2 $12.00 unless you want to wait and see if you get a trade offer.

Ringo,
I'd like the 32" x 3" x 11/16" bloodwood. Thanks.
Gary

I also have a couple of planes which are just sitting around collecting dust:

One is a modern stanley #4. It is this model: Amazon Link. Second is a Shelton #5 plane, as you can see from the picture it is pretty much identical to the Stanley Bailey #5 sitting next to it. Both planes are in good working shape. $15 each.

^ Oops, I meant to say the Stanley #5 is just there for comparison's sake... it is not for sale.

Any chance of a picture of the sole on that #5?
Any chance of a picture of the sole on that #5?
Sure thing:

There is maybe a quarter of a milimeter gap diagonally under the straight edge in the second picture which doesn't show up. So, it's not completely 100% flat, but a few minutes on a flat piece of sandpaper would take care of that.
