I have two items that might be of interest. The first is a chisel especially
suited for carving the heel. I bought it from LMII and you can check out
the product here:

rving+Heel

It costs $70 new and this one has never been resharpened so it still has a
ton of life left in it - but the blade does need a good solid resharpening. I
personally find that I really like using a 1" chisel for the heel along with a
half-round rasp. So this doesn't get used anymore. But I think some
people would really like this using this chisel for the heel. $35 including
USPS Priority shipping.

I am also selling my 26" Woodmaster Drum Sander for $1400. It is a little
over one year old. I am upgrading to a wide-belt. In my opinion, this is
the best drum sander on the market bar none. It operates on a
completely different level than the Performax 22-44 I owned previously.
There are quite a few reviews on the Woodmaster over the internet if you
want to do some research. I just finished sanding 15 Pau Ferro slats (6"
wide) that will be made into binding. I took off 3/64" from each board
and then sanded about 35 pieces of Ceylon Satinwood slats as well.
There was absolutely no loading on the paper. This is typical of the
performance of this machine. However, certain very oily woods can be a
pain but the majority of the exotic hardwoods it does with ease. The
wood really has to be very oily for it to clog up. And it is those times
where a wide-belt is the only good solution. However, if you are just
thicknessing an oily back or side this machine doesn't clog up enough to
be an issue. It is just when you are sending board after board of the oily
stuff thru that it becomes an issue. I can't empasize enough how much
nicer these machines perform than some of the other drum sanders on
the market.

This one will definitely be a pick-up only and I live in New Smyrna Beach,
FL. And I can help you put it in your vehicle.

If no one is interested, I will be putting it up on eBay.

Peace Out,
Simon
