Create your own or download some already there. Free!

Phonezoo

The only catch is you need to have the song on your computer. You can then upload it and take up to a 20 second snippet to use as a ringtone.

I did my first about a month ago and now have a different one for most of my contacts. No Drama!

Try it. Or show it to your kids... It's free. Remember?

Wow, no comments? I would have thought a bunch of guitar folk would relish the chance to make their own custom ringtones... Think, Tommy Emmanuel doing Somewhere Over the Rainbow when you get a call from home. Actually when I get a call from home it's announced by Uriah Heep doing Easy Living... My ex-wife? Tubular bells from The Exorcist...

Yesterday in a faculty meeting (I'm a teacher) the principal was talking and his phone rang. There was the authentic Tarzan yell coming from his pocket. It was hilarious.    I don't own a cell phone, but I'm constantly annoyed by those who do.

Tarzan... That's great I just downloaded that one. Thnx for the idea.

Luckily I work in a non-public facing, very relaxed atmosphere so I get to be a big kid whenever I want. In fact I once considered wearing a Darth Vader costume to work and going through the entire day trying to just act normal like nothing was wrong... In the end I chickened out.

Ronn, my phone came with software that allows you to make your own ringtones. I'm using Tommy Emmanuel "Endless Road". It never fails to get attention when the phone goes off and has gotten a lot more people introduced to his playing.

I may steal your idea for "Tubular bells".

Thanks for the link.

My son uses his daugher's laugh for his ring tone.  One of those great belly laughs you get when you tickle a 4 year old.
