Todd, that sure looks good. It's kinda ironic, A spruce pattern Mahogany...ho hum and yet you'd pay a whole lot of cash if it had a Martin logo on it.

Nice work Todd, I always look forward to your posts.

Finally, somebody posts a photo of a guitar with a proper body size.      And a beautiful one at that. Something inspires us to build, right? THAT is what inspires me.

Love those dreadnaughts - and notice I spelled it out completely!!

Bill

Todd,
thats a realy beauty.
i think it was you who also posted a pic of a OO made using some of Shane's lower grade Lutz a while ago , and what i notice every time is that your top also have that amber-ish tint to them that makes them so look so warm and good.
care to share what it is that you'e doing there?

Udi.

Todd,

Nice guitar and a great place to play. If that's the one you showed with the binding ding then your repair skills are first class along with your building skills.

The Porchlight Special. Nice work there, Todd. I like that amber tint, must try your method sometime.

I'm a dread diehard and love that guitar, Todd. Man, front porches and guitars sure do go together. I pick out on my porch swing a lot.

Yes Todd it`s the one with the wooden guard pictured in my avatar .Yeah it`s really sounding great.Your absolutely right about the quality of sound we seem to be able to achieve.I`ve had several top notch musicians here in Nashville, who are mostly vintage Martin owners that have played this guitar and saying how much they like it.Makes it all even more worthwhile.
