Here's a doctored link.

www.guitarsidebender.com

Woa! a HYDRAULIC JACK for the waist!?!? What is that, about 2,000 lbs of force? I hope he sells well... none. Pity the poor newbie buyer who cracks sides because there's no resistance from the jack!

also the support for the side is severely lacking. it would appear to be ready made for cupping and cracking sides.

It does not appear to include a means for heating the wood. So, it could be quite pricey, once you buy heating blankets, SS slats and temperature gauges and timers.

Oh, and the spritz bottle!

Comes with a heating blanket.
"Unit comes with our own FORM-A-FORM system that enables you to make your own guitar shapes for about two bucks each!
Three sets of forms of YOUR CHOICE included with your order.
Required heating blanket included."

According to him you only have to add the wood.

I stand corrected. Still I wonder, too, about the wisdom of having this kind of mechanism bending the wood!

If that hydraulic jack isn't strong enough, I could possibly rig something up with a chain attached to the hitch on my F250 Diesel, throw that baby into 4x4 Low ....

That reminds me of what my dad use to say when he was going to convince me I was going to see the light his way.

"You will either bend or break! The choice is yours"

His point was clearly under stood

Im not exactly sure why this is supposed to be better than your standard bending machine !?!?!?!?!
It looks like someone trying to redesign the mousetrap to me.
Cheers

PS I especially like this saying
"This system if purchased elsewhere (if it were available, and it's not) would cost upwards of $1000.00!"

My guitars if available elsewhere would be worth 6,000.00... Im pretty sure - but Im pretty sure they are not - so dont even bother to look,
theyre not out there - not like these ones.
SO cmon, pony up!
Cheers

Holy Crap Batman!!! You could bend 1/2" steel plate with that thing!

[quote]That reminds me of what my dad use to say when he was going to convince me I was going to see the light his way.

Wow, you guys had it soft! My Dad would just jump up and start punching things! .... that was until I got substantially bigger and almost insanely meaner - so there's the potential that your sides could grow up and scare the crap out of you! That's not particularily beneficial either, as I see it!

   Who dreamed this thing up?
