As a novice....Shall I even start?  Is the bar raised too high?  Can I ever achieve that level of craftmanship?Wink

I shall not take that "glass half empty" tack but be inspired!!!!LOL

Can anyone describe, either through a drawing or cross-section haw the arm/rib-rests are built?

Tony - Thanks for sharing.

Very cool...everything came together well stylistically. I like the asymetric elements...they go well with the multiscale slant. Well done.

MMMMMMMMMM, MMM, MMM, MMM, MMMM!  That is so fine.  If the sound is like the look, it is a huge winner.  What is the finish?  It sparkles like a diamond.  What a great and innovative, design.

Hey Waddy .. its Zpoxy and nitro ....

I have also started to put together a new tutorial on Laskin inspired arm/ribrests ... just need a little time. Its a bit different than what Tracy has on the Luthier Supply website (its a hidden page over there, taken of fthe MIMF tutorial I did on a true Laskin style, double bound).

Again, thanks to all for the kind words ... all that sanding does pay off

Tony, Tony, Tony!!! That is an amazing number of elements that all come together in one composition that screams -- WOW!

I showed the pictures to Tricia who has a great eye for form and she was thoroughly impressed. (Come to think of it they were a lot nicer words that I have heard in connection of any of my work....)

So how long do I have to scoot over to see it before it gets shipped?
