I didn't want to hijack John's rosette thread but here is a way that I came up with to build my rosettes in the drill press. I made a little wooden caul to fit in the cutter so I can clamp down on the individual pieces while I fit the next one. I'm sure someone has come up with something similar before but thought you might like to see it anyway.



It's best to unplug the drill press first.

Cool, I use my gobar deck and wax paper, usually with another piece of wood on top of the purfling lines to hold them in place.


It's always amazing the ways folks come up with to get the job done.  Way to go Ken.
