Does anyone know if there is an Ameritage OLF SJ case available somewhere? Also, my SJ is very similar in size with the exception that my lower bout is 16". I think it would still fit, but if anyone with experience with these cases thinks otherwise, let me know.

Thanks,
Randy

Randy, I'm pretty sure Ameritage has the specs of the OLF SJ and can make you one. Drop Nancy Worsfold a line at <nancyw@gwwcases.com>

The OLF SJ Ameritages are definitely available from Nancy
Just call her. We had them make them in batches of 6 some some would always be available. They won't have to custom make one for yo because they have some in stock!!!!!!

E mail works very well with her

Just FYI, the Olson SJ is not the same size as the OLF SJ. Originally, I had worked with Ameritage as a consultant to produce an SJ case as a standard case for their line to fit my SJ, which is virtually identical to an Olson in size and shape. Then I asked Ameritage to adjust the size a bit bigger to fit the OLF SJ, and then there was some confusion, a problem or two, and I believe Paul Woolson and I got them to make a few changes in the design of their line, then I retired, and eventually they made the SJ case to fit the OLF SJ instead of the original dimensions I gave them.
Yeah I know, long story, but such fond memories of working with a Class-A company. Good people, great cases.

A 16" lower bout may not fit in that case. You may want to look at their line to see if something else can be re-padded to work with your specific guitar shape and size. They are very reasonable in their pricing and will work with you to get what you need.

Ameritage has their standard SJ and an OLF SJ.
The OLF SJ is not listed on their website but Nancy is VERY familiar with it.
Michael Payne sent Ameritage the measurements. He and I arranged for Ameritage to make them 6 at a time and a bunch of us already have some the OLF SJ's. She recently told me they still have a few in stock.

Thanks for the responses. I talked to Nancy and she was in engineering when I called. She seemed to think that the OLF SJ would fit my guitar. My dimenstions are very similar to the OLF SJ with the exception that the lower bout is 1/2" wider.

Unfortunately I was also looking for the AME-11 (OM size) case and there isn't one immediately available. Does anyone have one of these lying around for sale?

Thanks,
Randy
