On a recent trip to Wisconsin, I got a chance to visit my friend Paul Woolson again. Being the model of organization and efficiency, he had all of his beautiful guitars completed for the upcoming Montreal show.

Here's my favorite...a Candy Apple Red electric archtop that would have felt right at home with Bill Haley and the Comets. He had to almost pry that thing out of my hands to get it back in its case

In addition, he will be showing an identical guitar that is finished in jet black along with 2 of his beautiful acoustics which we've all drooled over in the past.

Here's a shot of Mr. Woolson himself along with yours truly.

As always, I had a great time yakking about tools and techniques. Paul is a great resource and an even greater man. Thanks for the fine cheesehead hospitality Paul.

JJ, I still think Frank would look pretty good playing that one.
Thanks for swinging by. It was a fun afternoon. And hey, thanks for the burger too!

Paul.....gorgeous guitar. Great depth of finish & the understated pickguard treatment was right on!

Ohmygawd, that’s fantastic! That thing reeks of low riders, chrome and hairspray, Cliff Gallup would have been proud! The shop looks great too; I think I’m moving you up on my hate list, Paul!

Thanks for the pictures, JJ.

Both of those guitars look great.  I see the black one on the bench in the background.  Nice pictures.  Thanks for letting us all see.  Didn't I read something recently about not talking to guys wearing Baseball Caps?

Those are some very nice guitars there Paul, I'll take the red one too.
We're gonna have matching black limba's at the show it looks like. They are probably even related huh?

Paul, you won't have any problem selling that guitar. Wow! that color is fine and the build looks perfect.

JJ, you get any kick backs (other than good home cooking) for advertising for the Zootman?

Rosie's Italian cooking is worth far more than any compensation one could ask for! I'm proud to wear the shirt of any of my OLF brethern...and I have more than a few!

Paul, I think you should make JJ shave before he handles one of your spotless instruments!!! I love that Big Red!

Seriously, looks like you guys had a good time.
