Here's one of Paul Woolson's...a Candy Apple Red electric archtop. I love that guitar! I tried to take it home with me until the State Police stopped me at the border and rescued it.

That's a very pretty guitar you got as well Paul. Ya want me to bring my tube amp so you can be heard over the roar of acoustics?

Hi,
Here is one that I will have ready for delivery at Healdsburg. It is going to the finishing stage today. I choose and very well quartered, lightly figured koa because I think it will work well for the soundboard. I was fortunate to be able to resaw this wood myself.

The back has a little "fold" in the grain that I was able to get into the waist.

Snakewood bindings with some blond koa purfling.

I will have a few others as well. I better get back to it...

Thanks John. I really want to show it off but Mary is keeping it under lock(s) and key. She won't let me near it.

I think we are losing that Woolson guy. He keeps slipping towards that dark side with those dern plug in geetars. Stay strong Paul and resist the temptation. We are still praying for your safe return to the light BTW, that is a pretty guitar even though it is RED. Hmmmmmm...

Well, since I don't have someone around like Mary Mc, my secrets get let out of the bag by folks like JJ.
Since they're out, I'll spring the whole coop.
Here's a 12 string SIG
EIR back/sides, Sitka top, Koa bindings and appointments.

This is a Black Limba/ Lutz LG (Which is one of my newer models) It falls roughly between a martin 00 and a taylor GC.

Same size/model in Pau Ferro and Lutz.

Dang! I need an edit button for when I hit "Post" instead of the pic button.

As I was saying,
Here is an LG in Pau Ferro and Lutz

Ok, here are the dark side pics.
Both Lutz and Maple. Solid plates, TV Jones Supertron pickups, Bigsby tailpiece.

And the obligatory end graft shot.

It gives golfers something else to do while they play the guitar

Paul;
Instead of 6 or 12 holes to tie the strings on I drilled 18 so no string comes over the tie block !
I'll post a pic.

Mike:  Are the top line of holes straight through, and only the middle hole sloped down into the trough behind the saddle?  Got a shot of the tie side?

Waddy;
all the holes are straight through!
No need to angle any because this design makes a nice break-over angle that leaves much room for lowering the saddle as the guitar ages.

ALSO LESS chance of the dreaded string DING!!!!!!!

Yeah, I have one of those in one of my guitars.  E string slipped out of the knot.  Acts like a bull-whip.  Nice 1" slot in my cedar top, right between two grain lines.  I now melt a little ball on the end of the treble strings.
