yes, I l plan awider fingerboard 1 13/16. What is the best wood for top. Is bracing diff. because less force transfered to soundboard and therefore vibation should be increased to ge top moving?

Thanks all. Pat what I am most cusrious about is:
Fingerpickertops, I have read are either thinned or different specie--WRC, REDwood. The reason being that the top must be made to vibrate with less force applied to the strings. What top do you use, approx how thin, what wood and size of bracing?
Thanks, Ihope my question is clean.
