I have been looking for a "thinner" brass insert.

Most 1/4 - 20 inserts are around .455" from thread to thread edge. The one I am looking for is 1/4-20 but only .365" thread to thread. Here is a pic...sorry about the quality. The one on the right is the one I am looking for but ca't seem to find...i checked MSC, Mcmaster Carr, Rutland...can't find. I have the one, rescued from a scrap neck...need more...can anyone help?

THANKS!

That looks like the ones used by Martin. Call Danny Brown at Guitar Maker's Connection. Takes a letter Q drill bit if my memory is correct.

Lowes carries the Hillman brand. Looked closer to .370 when I just measured, but it might work.

FYI, Danny Brown is no longer with the Guitarmaker's Connection. He's now working in the Martin Custom shop.
