Finally got the bandsaw working as desired (whee!) and I'm currently making a magnet-clamed tall and short pair of resaw fences. Then it's resaw-tastic time!

The view is nice. The only problem is that is faces due east so I have to keep the shade down until noon. Otherwise, whatever is on my bench gets cooked by the sun.

Yes, that is a wood stove in the corner. I have electric heat on a thermostat as well to keep a base line temperature of about 60 degrees. I use the wood stove in the winter to bring the temp up to a more comfortable working temp.

The trees in the forest are safe. They are all pine and fir. No tops out there!!  There is nice Engelmann around here, but not in my forest.

Mark, sorry for being uneducated, but where are you located? I would get up every morning ust to watch the sunrise over those mountains.
Also, do you find the wood stove dries out your shop a lot? when I built mine, I was looking into it but talked myself out of it for that reason.

Mark, I started to envy your building chops when I saw your guitars at the first Newport show, and now I'm totally envious of your shop and location too. No wonder your guitars are so good...what inspiration to work! Dang, that's a view I'd give my eye teeth for.
