Mr. Rector’s post about the mid America get together got me to thinking about the up coming Winfield Festival. If anyone is going to Winfield and you want to get together I will be at “Oz-Tin City Limits” in the Pecan Grove.

Sept. 12th to the 16th. Bruce if you’ve never been you got to go.
There are 4 "official" stages where you will see the likes of Tommy Emanuel, Pete Huttlinger and Andy May. There is a total of 30 paid performers.
And there is a lot of great picking going on in the camp grounds. Camp Carp is in the Walnut grove with some perty salty pickers including Brent Pierce one of the founding fathers of the festival. I believe Stu Mossman of Mossman guitars fame was the other founding father.
Friday and Saturday night in the Pecan grove gets a little spooky some times, so I like staying there.
