Very nice Hesh, Thinning the brace to fit, Why didn't I think of that. And I thought I was the only guy using weight for clamping, I use 1lb chunks of lead.

Hesh, the way those knives are designed, they are made to work in both directions.  Bevel on one side, angled to a point in the center, lets you flip it around and mark in the other direction keeping the flat side to the inside of the mark.  The Hock knives are a good example of left and right hand marking blades.

And, there was a wood shaving and some sawdust showing in some of the pics as well.
Sad to see Hesh turning into such a slob.....

I cheat and draw the radius and most of the braces on band saw, on or leaving just a trace of the pencil lines. I then sand(using radius dishes)or use router table on bottom radius. I am going to make jigs for router table for the scallops and then make up a bunch of left and right side of X's and other bracing for tops and backs. Probably enough for 8 guitars anyway. Then when using them just need to clean up the sanding and tool marks. I made a thing like one of the others for table saw X lap joint and use a daddo blade for that. Use vacuum press and do all of the braces for top or back all together. I must correct thing here. I am going to do this as have in past, but right now have to build my shop again with all of the moves.

Hesh, you have the cleanest shop I have ever seen! I'll post a picture of my shed some day...it will make your shop look even nicer!
