I would like to thank my brother Dana Gage for taking these fantastic photos and for capturing the healdsburg experience for me.

i have so many great shots to choose from that it will take some time to post them, but here a few to get going.

first lets start the day with breakfast, for me,having my buds Lance, Broc, and John O to hang with was priceless.

after that it was a quick meeting to discuss stradegy

here is Me and my brother Dana getting ready for the opening bell on Sunday morning.

Lance was so busy that he had to entertain bids by phone while managing his table at the same time... Go Lance!

me and my pal Vivian Ecker who was a huge help to me out there. thank you Viv.

Paul Asebell playing Broc`s beautifull cutaway guitar.

Broc and Paul exit the stage as John O and Kieth Knight set up

Kieth talks about John O`s wedge guitar

then playing it... Wow! it sounded great.

part two coming soon....
Matt

After seeing those I think I seriously need to lay off the breakfast...

It was a great time though...

No security guard photos though...

...no really, I'm glad I didn't go, I'm sure it was both hot and humid and I would have hated it. Riiiight...

Admittedly, I was the most ignorant guy at the place. And although I was surrounded by building greats and player extraordinaires, I was blissfully clueless. Being at such a gathering had a different significance for me. I met some great people in a picturesque place and was surrounded by the most exquisite and skillfully built instruments I’d ever seen. The place was a music-loving photographer’s dream. It was truly a pleasure getting to know my new friends Lance, Brock, John, Vivian, and my new favorite guitarist, Ed Gerhard. Thanks to all of you for welcoming me into a very exclusive circle.

Me and Ed Gerhard
