Hey all. A while back we talked about one of Morris Breakstones books of WWII. I bought it and just finished it. At the time I had tossed out the idea of making this a road trip book. If anyone is interested, drop me a PM with your address and I'll get it out to you right away.

My Dad was in Greenland during the war, running a ward to care for GI's returning from combat. I'd like a read on this book, to get another glimpse into a soldier's life. Thanks Paul.

Check your PM for my addy.

Bruce, I think I beat you to the punch, but I'll shoot it to you when I finish.  I'll let you know, and you can PM your address to me.

I won't ruin the ending, but it is a bit gory. War is hell as they say.

The music is great. Waddy and his harem at the Rosewood Guild.      His wordz not mine. I know he's had many enjoyable hours hanging out with his group making music.

Who's next?

PS Waddy I hope you don't mind I downloaded the CD to my 'puter and my Ipod Shuffle?

Bruce, The book and CD came in the mail today.
Waddy, I put the CD on when I got home, my wife came in and and said she loved it and want's a copy to listen to while her 2nd grade class is working on writing. Your music will help tame the savage 2nd grader

Hey Dave, glad it made it. I put it in my Ipod Shuffle and listened to it all one day in the ship. Good stuff.
Waddy and his group are fantastic. Did you get a load of their get-ups? What was that medieval or what?

Waddy, I would love to hear some of your music. We haven't been active in the SCA since moving up here, but it's still a part of who we are and influences the things we like. Which faires do you attend?

Our group only does the local Ren Fest - Carolina Renaissance Festival.  It is about 14 years old, and we have rosbeen doing it since it started.  At the beginning, we only did a few weekends, and then after a few years decided to go for the whole 7 weekends.  It runs from the first full weekend in October until just before Thanksgiving.  Lots of used up weekends.  We do have fun, though.  We are all hobby musicians, with one exception.  She is a semi retired teacher, who does most of our arrangements.  If you want to hear some of our stuff go to rosewoodguild.com (no www needed), click on the CD link, then on the selections link.  Some of the pieces are linked to clips.  Also, click on Buy the CD, that will take you to CDBaby, and all of the pieces on both of the CD's have clips there.

It's Paul's book.  If no one else signs up to read it, I guess, send it back to him.
