I believe JJ has talked with John recently. I'm sure he'll chime in soon.

I had an email from him about two weeks ago. I sent him one earlier this week and have not heard back. Does he have a health issue I don't know about. I know he is revamping his business and for the most part closed till November some time.

Bruce, you could call or send an email if you need to reach me. I'm here every day and have received neither.

Michael, your email arrived here less than 24 hours ago. I do not have a health issue.

Geez.

John, maybe you should reconsider your situation.  Are you sure you're feeling OK?  You are looking kind of pale.  Are you eating well, exercising right?  Hope you feel better!

You know, a day without a post = ~!

John I thought that there might have been a problem health wise that I had not heard about because of the way Bruce asked the question. Glad to here there was nothing wrong

Hi John,

Just wondering out loud. I had no idea you were even around the OLF lately. Just thought I'd see if the crew had the latest. Thanks for confirming your condition. Alive and well, that's good.

I'm going back to the shop now!

I have not only talked with him recently but also played 3 rounds of golf with him in my back yard!

I can confirm that he is in excellent health, can shred a guitar with the best till the wee hours of the morning...but occasionally has a wicked duck hook off the tee with his driver!

Not being a golfer, I have no clue what a duck hook is, the term wicked can be used positively at times. So I assume this is good right?

Bruce...FYI

Hitting a golf ball such that it's trajectory slightly curves left (draw) or right (fade) is a good thing. Doing this to an excess sharpens those curves such that too much left (now called hook) and too much right (now called slice) can get one into trouble on either side of a fairway. Going even further sharply left (now called duck hook) is often followed by words we try to avoid on the OLF! An occasional wicked duck hook keeps us humble and reminds all of us that we can never master this game!

Why is the game called "Golf"...because all the other four-lettered words were taken!
