Well my table is all set up and way too small. I have wood on chairs on boxes on the floor and still not enough room. One bummer though I forgot to bring the cord to connect my Sony camera to my laptop. I'm going to try and buy a card reader somewhere. One highlight during setup was seeing Craig''s inlay work in person. It is truly awesome. I also got to hear him play John Kinnard's lovely guitar. It sounds fantastic and to my surprise Craig is one hell of a player too. Will report again to-nite.

Thanks for the update...I'll bet you won't have any wood to transport back to Buffalo. You'd better hire a Brinks truck to haul all that cash back. Good luck, my friend.

I'm sure it will all be long gone before I get there Though my wife will probably be along to keep an eye on my wallet hand. If not I'll just keep reciting my mantra...no more wood...no more wood.

Thanks for the update Bob. Man I wish I was there to enjoy pawing through all that wood! Oh well, I would just spend a bunch of money I don't have.

That's very funny Michael. But you know, if anyone can find a great source for highly-figured plastic AND sell it at a reasonable price point - Bob the "ZOOTMAN" can!

Well day one is over and pretty successful for me at least. I even sold some wood to Martin Guitars and I was pretty excited about that. I spent some time playing Matt Gage's guitars and they are beautiful sounding and built. I'm sure Matt is on his way to becoming a very successful luthier, he's already a great guy. Now as for micarta I don't remember seeing any but I will take a look tommorow. I meet a lot of nice vendors including John Hall, Chris from LMI, Steve from Colonial, Brad Goodman and many more. Right now my whole body is aching so I'm going to soak in the tub.

Hi Jeff
I was honored to sell some wood to Martin. I am working on my new price list. Just kidding. In fact I'm going to offer my ASIA sale prices to all the guys here that couldn't make the trip providing I have any wood left.

You guys better take Bob up on the discounts. When I bought from him it was like reverse haggling; I'd say great price and he'd lower it. The guy is too much. Of course, my daughter's going to have to share books for first two semesters of college.
