well the saddle fit is pretty much there, but not the way I would like- will deal with this asap.

I usually hate medium tension strings. They do produce a warmer sound and its easier to nuance, but I can't control them too well. My fingering is sloppy...

If the combo is too stiff, then it needs a lot of tension I guess.  Think at a steel string, or a 10 string classical. Those have a massive bridge but more tension.

Anyway, In the mean while, I think it has opened up a little. And also sounds a bit more mellow.

I believe you are right.  I would like to hear the trebles sing a little more (personal taste).  How does it sound on the upper frets.  Does it maintain it's evenness?

Alex, where did your bridge weight end up?

I just cut a blank to size because I'm about to make a bridge for the latest guitar. Out of curiosity I decided to weigh it before doing anything to it (ie. carving it) and it weighs only 37 grams.

I'm getting about 90 at close to those dimensions for BRW.

Just an update Alex - my bridge came to 18g.

Brazilian Rosewood: 185mm x 28mm x 8mm, bridge wings at 4mm.

Also 18 holes but I expect that accounts for about a third of a gram.

Its going on one of my smaller guitars, so I intended to keep it light. But its no different then my other bridges really.
