I have 2 floor seats for the 22 Oct Van Halen show in Auburn Hills that I won't be able to attend. I'm trying to sell the tickets for face value, or am also willing to make a fair trade (guitar parts?). Are there any other VH lovers out there? I think it's good the show is early in the tour otherwise you have a better than 50/50 chance of Diamond Dave getting kicked out again before the tour is over.

Cheers!

John

no matter how bizarrely they've appeared over the years there's no denying the genious of evh. 'hoping they come to the uk...but i wont be too surprised if they implode 1 bar into the first song, first show.

i take it you've seen the relic evh? what do you think?

considering what he did for the customise and subsequent repair industry, i feel i almost owe them the price of a ticket...ahem...

If they were $2,000-$3,000 I would have bought one in a second. They are great sounding and playing electric guitars. At $25,000, no way! At that price these guitars aren't going into the hands of players. I already decided I'm going to build my own replica, and I guarentee it will cost a lot less. I've never been a Fender fan, but this is one guitar I'd like to have, just not at that price.

me too, i'd love one, and i'm sure it'd be a fantastic investment - but if i cant play the hell out of it whats the point?

Warmoth offering the evh shaped necks would most likely make a better instrument anyway.

it'll be interesing (to nerds like me) to see if the next step is kramer re-issue with Gibson 'together at last!'

kind of hard not to be slightly cynical, having said that - the fella's playing is all i'm actually interested in when it comes down to it. more power to em all, hope you get to catch up with the tour at some point,

cheers
