I thought the sugar deal was that you put a bunch of sugar on the top and let the top resonate and the sugar accumulates at different harmonic points. Isn't this supposed to help you determine optimum bracing etc? I have NO IDEA what sugar cubes are used for. Is it just in case some jabroney spills coffee on your guitar?

Your updates are the next best thing to being there! I don't think my wife would allow me to use all that sugar in my building, it's probably not good for my diabetes
