I'm sure the following is not the fault of  AC Woods, but I think it is something they need to be aware of...their current email  addys do not work so I am 'forced' to contact them in this manner..

the following is a screenshot of what is currently going on at their site...if one takes the time to actually go there, they will find the listed $1,200 computer is an ancient PIII machine with a 15' monitor..talk about a total rip off..sheesus...

I dunno, those 15" monitors are pretty expensive.  Now, a 15" monitor is nothing to brag on.

I looked, and I think someone has hijacked his site, or there is some other crossover problem with another site on his server.

I'm with Waddy. This is not the usual site. Every wood link goes to the same computer information. I don't have his card handy so if anyone does they should contact him.

Their home page states that the site is under construction and gives contact info. Not to worry.

Ron,

It's only normal until you click on, say, sitka spruce.  When you do, it takes you to a page selling computers.

Could be that the developer is waiting for new content from ie images and wot not from Ed and has just put the old images of PC's to fill the empty frames.

Cheers

I wonder if Kim is right here. This could be generic content, stuff that is there until correct images and text are supplied.

attention is relative...I hate hijackers and will go out of my way to deal with them...if this is a hijack it may very well be the person upgrading the site...if a person is being paid for this they are lamer as they should have constructed the new site first and them simply loaded onto the server ready to go...I've seen whole forums with years and years of posts transferred/upgraded in less than 6 hours...

If you click the "about us" tab you get "Ecommerce Plus Templates" adverts. I think something went haywire when they set up the page to sell!

If you look more carefully at the site you will see that the images and text are indeed generic. This stuff would have come with the software and the developer simply does a type over and replaces the images with those relevant to the text in the fields provided. No hijack and nothing sinister, I would say that the site is just being done on a "when I get to it basis".

Cheers

Kim
