Hi guys,
I would like to share this with the bunch.
I contacted Bob at Saint Lutherie to see if I could get some of my logos done. My finest logo is done with Abalone and MOP in 4 parts and then bordered in Brass. Done by hand its not the easiest thing to do and quite time consuming.
So Bob gave it a shot and this is what he came up with.... AMAZING WORK!!!!
What else can I say?? A picture is worth a thousand words.

A lot of mills broke their little carbide necks figuring out how to cut those brass pieces. Cutting metal with miniature mills is a whole new ball game, but anything to have a part in one of Peter's beautiful guitars!

I'll second the applause for Bob and his work. He was really helpful in helping me design and inlay my name on the headstock materials for my guitars as well. His prices were extremely reasonable and his work was flawless.

The work he did for me is not as intricate as the logo he designed for Peter, but as you can see, his attention to detail and the quality of his work is perfection. I highly reccomend him and his work and I am thankful for him becoming a sponsor of the forum.

Hey Bob!!!

I already told you this but let me be the first other 'sponsor' to say WELCOME to the forum!

Bob and I have been working on a few things for a while now. You may remember the prototype vacuum dishes I posted a few months ago...guess who did the CNC work?

Good to have you here Bob!

Shane
