What are differences between 0000 and Jumbo re: playability and with all things equal the tone volume etc. Whaich do you like better and why?

I would much rather play a 0000 offer Jumbo. I'm assuming you mean a Martin Jumbo. Other builder's jumbos may be quite different. From the front, the 0000 (or M) and the Jumbo looks the same. The difference is in the depth. The shallower depth of the 0000 is much smoother to my ear than the tubby sound of the jumbo. The thinner guitar is also more comfortable.
