A while ago I posted a thread asking about some of the automatic Humidifier - Dehumidifier Combos available out there for a small shop. I remember the Danby 3 in 1 was one of the recommended models....
Anyone else is aware of any other models?

Thanks

Hey Peter.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but this says it's both so it might be an option for you as well.

I'll look a little more and let you know if I run across anything else.

Humidifier Dehumidifier

Thanks Blain...
I think the Danby may be the best bet!

You're probably right.

And it doesn't look like there's a whole lot of options out there either. At least not from what I've seen.

Yeah, that top one is a table-top type unit.   Seems pretty small.

The only thing about the Danby that bothered me was the small dehumidifier tank.  Only holds 6 liters.  For a 60 pint dehumidifier, thats emptying  nearly 5 times a day if the humidity is high.  I couldn't find out whether it had an option of draining directly.  I know you can buy little pumps to pump the water out if you want to.  A lot would depend on how much humidifying and dehumidifying you have to do.  I know I run my AC full out, and still have to run the dehumidifier to keep the shop in the 45 - 50 range.  It's sort of like beating a dead horse.  The dehumidifier raises the temp about 8* and the AC lowers it a little more, but if it's 90+ outside, it's a nice dry 80 - 85 in the shop.

Would not take much to to add a small bulkhead fitting to the tank and pipe it out some where

I have just started looking at humidifiers and dehumidifiers for the shop i
am setting up. I didn't even realize they sold the all-in-one units. Thanks
for the heads-up on these.
