Dean that's where I buy my blades. Don is a good guy to work with and the welds are done right at the Lennox factory. I just bought 2 of the fairly new 1.3 tpi 1" wide blade. Thought they may be good on some of the tougher woods like makore.

Kidding, of course.

Has anyone tried the new version of the Resaw King with the carbide impregnated teeth? They're supposed to be almost as good as solid carbide teeth, but more asily resharpened.

Another option for those of you with carbide or stellite. You can buy diamond files and file the blade right on the saw. Just glue the file to a strip of wood ripped to the correct angle of your teeth, lower the tooth on to the file and draw it back and forth. Of course this easier if your saw has a foot brake. I have done this in the past with good results and I know of a west coast tonewood guy who sets his makita resaw up for blade drift (a fence adjustment) and then uses this sharpening method until the blade is no longer serviceable, about 15 plus sharpenings!

It does...the only thing they changed on it are the tips.   Before, they were C-8 steel, now they are carbide impregnated C-8 steel. They made an announcement about it last spring. I asked a guy there about it last week, and he verified it. Nothing else has changed that I'm aware of.

Don I think they also changed they to variable tips 2/3 grind. You can see it on the new blades. Again supposed to stay sharp longer.

    Are the new blades Woodmasters? I have been running one of those for a little while now and they seem to do a great job. Running very cool and clean.
